Mancan is working with a restaurant in Millersburg seeking a server. This is a full time position, with hours varying based on the needs of the restaurant. Must be available mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay starts at $10.70 per hour and will go to $5.35 plus tips once hired permanently. On average, you can expect to earn between $28,000-$42,000 per year depending on work availability and sales ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Develop familiarity with menus to explain menu items and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, then input orders into POS system
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
