Job Title: Packing and Restoration Assistant
Location: Local Area (Client Homes)
Shift: First Shift (Monday-Friday) 6am-3pm
Hourly Rate: $15 a hour
Position Overview:
Our company is seeking a reliable and compassionate Packing and Restoration Assistant to help support our clients during the recovery process after fire or water damage.
In this role, you will assist in packing, cleaning, and restoring items that have been affected by these events.
The items you will handle include clothing, electronics, furniture, and other household belongings.
You will be working directly in the homes of clients, providing empathetic and professional service as you help them recover and restore their possessions.
This is a hands-on, physical role that requires attention to detail, a caring attitude, and a commitment to making a positive impact during a challenging time for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing and Handling Damaged Items: Carefully pack and organize items, including clothing, electronics, and other household belongings that have been affected by fire or water damage.
Cleaning and Restoration: Assist in cleaning and restoring items when possible to return them to their original condition. This includes, but is not limited to, clothing, electronics, furniture, and other household goods.
Client Interaction: Maintain a professional, empathetic, and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients during the packing and restoration process.
Inventory Tracking: Help with inventory management by documenting the items packed and restored, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
General Support: Assist with other tasks as needed, including organizing and preparing items for transport.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry items of varying weight, including furniture and boxes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Previous experience in packing, restoration, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the local area.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
