Mancan Staffing is seeking a skilled **Machinist** for a reputable manufacturing facility in the Southpointe area! This is a **temp-to-perm opportunity** for motivated individuals looking to grow their career in a solid company.
💼 **Job Responsibilities:**
* Operate, set up, and maintain **manual and CNC machines** (milling, grinding, turning, drilling, shaping)
* Read and interpret **blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and sketches**
* Align, adjust, and secure cutting tools and workpieces
* Monitor machine feed and speed to produce **precision metal parts**
* Verify completed products meet specifications
* Perform other duties as assigned
🛠 **Required Skills & Abilities:**
* Proficient with **measuring tools**: calipers, micrometers, tape measures
* Ability to read and interpret **prints and technical drawings**
* Familiarity with **Epicor, CAD, CorelDraw, and Microsoft Office Suite**
* Strong organizational and **communication skills**
* Ability to **prioritize tasks** in a fast-paced environment
🎓 **Education & Experience:**
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Machining apprenticeship, technical training, or related work experience
💪 **Physical Requirements:**
* Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Stand for entire 8+ hour shift
* Bending, reaching, climbing steps/ladders
* Shop environment with temperature fluctuations
📍 **Location:** Southpointe, PA
💵 **Pay:** Depends on experience
