Mancan Staffing is assisting a reputable company in Akron, OH, in seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machines, ensuring the efficient production of precision parts in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$18 - $21 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Job Duties:
Operate and monitor CNC Grinding machines, Blanchard Grinder, Sand Blasters, and Cut Saw.
Follow directions from inspectors, management, and staff to meet quality standards.
Inspect incoming materials and products in progress to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identify malfunctions, mistakes, or non-conformity issues and report them for immediate action.
Use problem-solving skills to implement proactive solutions for quality issues.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Work on a variety of parts from different industries while ensuring products meet quality inspection standards.
Requirements:
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to understand and follow directions.
Manual dexterity and physical stamina; ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Ability to read prints and technical drawings.
Experience in CNC Grinding within a machine shop or metal manufacturing environment.
Dependable and able to work 40 hours per week (overtime as needed).
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers (Mic’s) and calipers.
