• During the assignment, temporary employees are required to call (330)477-4800, Option 4, at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the shift if calling off or running late. Clearly state your name, reason for the absence and the expected return to work date. .
• The assignment requires frequent, routine heavy lifting of up to 75 pounds without assistance. This involves bending, and lifting material above waist level.
• Candidates must be able and willing to work different shifts, and more than eight hours per day since this is a union work environment.
• Rate of pay is $16.25 per hour. Overtime is paid for hours in excess of 40 hours per week.
• Temps are required to clock in no more than seven (7) minutes before the start of the shift and no more than seven (7) minutes after the end of the shift.
• Candidates are required to wear steel-toed safety footwear every day, including the first day, of the assignment and to safety orientation.
• All other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided at no cost by Gregory Industries. However, replacement costs for unreturned or lost PPE will be withheld from your earnings. Hard hat $19, safety glasses $5, DexCut gloves = $6, Kevlar sleeves $6, total = $36
• Candidates may not wear shorts, sweatpants or sleeveless shirts. Piercings that dangle or protrude excessively from the skin must be removed due to the danger of catching in machinery.
• Company property is completely tobacco-free. All tobacco products and e-cigarettes are prohibited. The use of these products is not permitted during the 20 minute paid lunch break, and workers may not leave company property during paid breaks.
• Temporary workers are subject to random and post-accident drug and alcohol testing. Work-related injuries must be reported immediately.
