Kitchen Crew Member

Mancan is working with a restaurant in Millersburg looking for a kitchen crew member. Must be available Friday and Saturday evenings. 5 scheduled shifts per week, typically from 3pm-10pm, 35-38 hours per week. Pay is $15 per hour. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, as well as assisting with food preparation for dinner service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the dishwasher, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are cleaned and sanitized.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent hazards.
- Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, appliances, and surfaces as scheduled or assigned.
- Assist with basic food preparation duties including washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
- Ensure all workstations and storage areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain garbage and recycling areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Willingness to take direction and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
