CNC Machinist – Wooster Area – $18-$22/hr (Based on Experience)

We’re partnering with a respected Wooster-based company in the oil and gas industry, and they are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with room for long-term growth and stability.
Pay & Schedule:
• $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm
• Overtime available and may be required as needed
Job Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC machines, manual lathes, and milling machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Set up and program machines (basic understanding of Fanuc or G&M code preferred)
• Monitor machine performance and perform quality checks
• Complete machine setups and changeovers efficiently
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous CNC machining experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
• Professional attitude with strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
