Mancan Staffing, in partnership with a leading recycling refinery in Cambridge, is seeking motivated Production Workers to join a high-performing team within a heavy manufacturing environment. Position: Production Worker – Recycling Refinery
Location: Cambridge, OH
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 8-hour swing/rotating shifts, including weekends
As a Production Worker, you’ll play an essential role in supporting daily operations, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring efficient and reliable production performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations
• Contribute to a strong culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
• Operate a variety of production equipment, including electric arc furnaces, roasters, system controls, and mobile machinery
• Maximize equipment productivity and uptime to meet quality and production goals
• Take part in team-based problem-solving and daily operational decision-making
• Support process improvements through lean manufacturing practices, including 6S
• Maintain clear and effective communication to foster a productive work environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in heavy manufacturing preferred; steel or hot metal experience is a strong advantage
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment (loader, dozer, forklift, dump truck) strongly preferred
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing demands
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, or willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends
• Capable of working in hot and cold environments with fluctuating temperatures
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic are essential
