Job Title: Process Support Team Member
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Process Support Team Member. This position involves performing process support work essential to the continuous operation of production activities.
Process Support Team Members operate mobile equipment, machinery, and hand tools; handle raw materials and bulk supplies; and stage materials and process set-ups to support efficient production. They also assist with maintaining 6S standards and continuous improvement efforts throughout the plant.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Comply with all company policies, safety, and environmental requirements
• Embrace and promote a positive workplace culture in all daily activities
• Operate mobile equipment, machinery, and hand tools as required
• Receive, store, stage, and ship raw materials and finished products
• Complete safety and environmental checks and documentation as required
• Participate in 6S and other continuous improvement activities
• Clean and maintain plant and facility grounds
• Work independently and train new employees on process support functions
• Develop a solid understanding of operational metrics that drive business results
• Perform other duties as assigned
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position, 12-hour rotating shifts (6:00am–6:00pm and 6:00pm–6:00am)
Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off (rotating day and night shift)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work 12-hour swing/rotating shifts, including weekends
• Experience in a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing environment preferred (steel or foundry experience a plus)
• Mobile equipment certification a plus
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable to change and committed to continuous learning and improvement
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
