Front Desk Clerk

Mancan Staffing is assisting a Cuyahoga Falls company who is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to join their tax preparation office. This is a professional, client-facing role in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an office setting supporting CPAs, tax preparers, or accounting staff and understands the workflow of tax season operations.
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Hours: 7am-3pm or 4pm Monday-Friday Hours may vary during their busy season
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Schedule and confirm client appointments
• Maintain client files and assist with document organization and filing
• Collect and organize intake paperwork and supporting documents
• Enter basic client information into office systems
• Monitor front desk area and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Assist tax preparers and CPA staff with administrative tasks as needed
• Handle general office duties including scanning, copying, and data entry
Qualifications:
• Previous front desk or administrative experience required
• Experience working around CPAs, tax preparers, or in an accounting/tax office strongly preferred
• Strong phone and customer service skills
• Comfortable handling confidential financial documents
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and scheduling systems)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting
