We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Commercial Lender to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a high-quality commercial loan portfolio while building strong relationships with new and existing business clients.
The ideal candidate will support the bank’s growth objectives through sound credit analysis, proactive portfolio management, and active involvement in community and business development initiatives.
Pay: 60,000 Salary based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial loans
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with business customers
- Conduct credit analysis and ensure sound lending decisions
- Monitor and manage loan portfolio performance
- Participate in community and business development efforts
- Ensure compliance with bank lending policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or the banking industry.
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivated
- Strong understanding of loan underwriting and financial statements
- NMLS registration or ability to obtain one
- Excellent customer service
Growth Opportunity:
This position will gradually expand to include participation in residential mortgage lending, providing the opportunity to develop expertise across both commercial and consumer real estate products.
The Commercial Lender will work closely with the Chief Lending Officer, credit administration, and branch teams to deliver consistent, relationship-based service and maintain high lending standards.
