Mancan Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing facility in Donora, PA to hire an experienced **Maintenance Technician**. This is a direct hire position offering long-term stability with a growing company. If you have strong mechanical and electrical skills and experience in a production environment, we want to hear from you!
🔎 Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will report to the Director of Maintenance and play a key role in keeping plant equipment and facility systems operating efficiently. This position is responsible for plant-wide maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and production line changeovers.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
* Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance
* Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, conveyors, fillers, and related machinery
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical components including motor controls and automated equipment
* Assist with equipment installations and production line changeovers
* Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
* Submit parts requests and help maintain proper inventory levels
* Support production, sanitation, and quality teams while following safety and hazard material guidelines
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
* Assist with general building and facility maintenance
✅ Qualifications:
* Minimum **2+ years of industrial maintenance experience** in a manufacturing or production setting
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
* Experience with diagnostic and preventative maintenance procedures
* Basic computer skills
* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
* Ability to communicate equipment issues clearly to management
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
