Local printing company is seeking a Collator Machine Operator
This position is responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed printing and collating machines that produce a variety of printed materials including paychecks, invoices, medical forms, restaurant order pads, and other custom documents.
Hours could be 6a-2p or 7a-3p
Days - Mon-Fri with Occasional Saturdays as well (work till noon or when the job is done)
30 min lunch break
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and monitor printing and collating machines to ensure accurate production.
-Load paper stock, adjust machine settings, and maintain proper alignment for quality output.
-Inspect printed materials for clarity, accuracy, and proper sequencing.
-Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
-Follow strict quality control procedures, especially when handling sensitive documents such as payroll checks and medical forms.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
-Previous machine operating experience preferred (printing environment a plus).
-Strong attention to detail and ability to catch print errors.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
-Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
-Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
