A local Zanesville company specializing in banquets, buffets, catering, and special events is looking for an experienced Head Cook to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves creating high-quality meals and helping events run smoothly.

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook food for banquets, buffets, catered events, and special functions
• Plan food preparation and coordinate with kitchen staff
• Ensure all food is prepared on time and meets quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
• Help with menu planning and food presentation
• Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed
• Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently and served on schedule for events

Requirements:
• Previous cooking or kitchen leadership experience preferred
• Experience with large batch cooking, buffets, or banquet-style service is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team
