Machine Operator

Mancan Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to operate an OD (Outside Diameter) Grinder in the manufacturing of carbide wear parts and carbide cold draw/forming tooling. This is a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Carnegie, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate OD grinding machines for carbide components
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments to ensure quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work independently and collaboratively with the production team
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies
• Adjust processes to improve quality or efficiency as needed

Qualifications:
• Experience operating OD grinders required, preferably with carbide materials
• Knowledge of grinding tolerances, feeds, and speeds
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job duties
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
