**Shift:** Primarily 1st Shift (flexibility required for evenings/nights)

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Orrville, OH. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of facility equipment and systems through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in electrical systems (including 480V), PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics, along with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to identify issues or potential failures
* Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve urgent repair needs
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
* Work with electrical systems including AC/DC and 480V
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams
* Fabricate or modify parts and components as needed using appropriate tools and equipment
* Coordinate and oversee contractors when necessary
* Maintain compliance with all safety standards and promote a safe work environment
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience required
* Strong experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC and 480V
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
* Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
* Valid driver’s license preferred
