**Job Description:**
Are you someone who enjoys the thrill of moving things around and possesses a skill for operating a forklift? If your answer is "yes," then Mancan has an exciting opportunity for you as a Forklift Operator in the Orrville area. This position involves operating a forklift to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within the facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Operate Forklift in a Safe Manner:**
- Safely operate a forklift in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all established safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
2. **Documentation and Record Keeping:**
- Complete and document the forklift checklist daily, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
- Record and report any maintenance issues promptly.
3. **Production Schedule Adherence:**
- Follow the daily production schedule to ensure timely delivery of materials to designated areas.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
4. **Material Handling:**
- Check incoming Bills of Lading (BOL) for accuracy and submit paperwork as required.
- Locate stock and deliver it to designated machines.
- Unload raw materials efficiently.
5. **Warehouse Operations:**
- Remove units from the unitizer and place them in the warehouse according to organizational standards.
6. **Compliance and Communication:**
- Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain good communication skills with team members and supervisors.
7. **Additional Responsibilities:**
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Must be a team player with a cooperative and positive attitude.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to pass a tow motor certification course.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
**Compensation:**
$23.00 per hour.
