Supervisor

Mancan is seeking a Production Supervisor for a company in New Philadelphia. This position is available on 2nd and 3rd shift and pays $30/hour. This is a 3-4 month assignment that can lead to a full time position.
This role is responsible for ensuring safety, production, and quality goals are met through effective planning, organization, and supervision of employees and operations. The supervisor will create a positive and safe work environment, ensure all parts meet specifications, and confirm employees are properly trained and following procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, coaching staff, maintaining accurate production reports, managing schedules and staffing needs, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
The position also involves identifying operational risks, participating in incident investigations and continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining strong communication between shifts and leadership teams. Candidates should be comfortable leading teams, solving day-to-day operational issues, and supporting process improvements.
Qualified candidates will have a degree or relevant supervisory experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and basic computer knowledge. This role requires working in both office and manufacturing environments, following all safety protocols, and occasional travel as needed.
