Mancan Staffing is currently looking for a general manager with productions operations background. The ideal candidate will have 8–15+ years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
The General Manager of Factory Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality assurance, supply chain coordination, maintenance, and workforce management. This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations while meeting production targets and maintaining high product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Operational Leadership
o Oversee daily factory operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met
o Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
o Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Production Management
o Plan, organize, and manage production schedules
o Ensure optimal use of resources, equipment, and labor
o Minimize downtime and improve throughput
• Quality & Compliance
o Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
o Implement and maintain quality control systems
o Lead audits and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Financial Oversight
o Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
o Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement
o Drive profitability through operational efficiencies
• Team Leadership & Development
o Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff
o Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
o Manage staffing, performance evaluations, and training programs
• Supply Chain & Inventory
o Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams
o Ensure optimal inventory levels and material availability
o Improve supply chain efficiency and reduce waste
• Maintenance & Safety
o Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
o Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
o Promote a strong safety culture across all departments

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8–15+ years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and operational best practices
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
• Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and leading teams
