Welder – 1st Shift (Direct Hire))
Mancan Staffing is partnering with a Geneva-area facility to hire an experienced Welder for a direct hire opportunity. This is a great chance to join a small, team-oriented shop with steady hours and competitive pay.
Pay: $23–$27/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift – Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Occasional Mondays during peak season
Job Duties:
* Perform welding using TIG and SMAW, with occasional MIG work
* Operate machinery to fabricate parts needed for production
* Assist in general shop tasks as part of a small team
* Support overall production needs as required
Schedule Details:
* Two paid breaks: 9:00 AM & 1:50 PM
* 30-minute unpaid lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
* Typical workweek is 32 hour, with potential for overtime during busy seasons
Qualifications:
* Prior welding experience required (TIG & SMAW preferred)
* Ability to operate shop machinery and tools
* Team player with a willingness to help in multiple areas
* Strong attention to detail and quality
