Service Technician

Mancan, in partnership with a local automobile dealership, is searching for a Service Technician. We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join a fast-paced automotive service team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience or a strong interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs including oil changes, fluid services, and part replacements
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using basic diagnostic tools and equipment
* Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs or maintenance needs
* Rotate, balance, and replace tires as needed
* Check, top off, and replace fluids including brake, transmission, coolant, and windshield washer fluids
* Complete minor to moderate repairs such as brakes, belts, hoses, and battery replacements
* Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with supervisors or service advisors
* Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
* Follow all dealership and safety procedures
* Provide professional and courteous customer service when needed
Qualifications:
* Previous automotive technician or service technician experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance, and repair procedures
* Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Valid driver’s license required
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
* Certifications (ASE or similar) are a plus but not required
Schedule & Pay:
* Full-time position Monday through Friday 8a-5p (schedule may vary based on dealership hours)
* Pay based on experience $18-$32 per hour
