Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a General Shop Helper. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude looking to grow in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup and operation of machinery
Load and unload raw materials and secure workpieces in machines
Monitor automated processes and support production flow
Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication
Collaborate with machine operators and technicians to troubleshoot issues
Inspect materials and finished products for defects or irregularities
Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical experience required
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time, day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
