Mancan Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company with operations in **New Eagle and Donora, PA** to hire an experienced **Plant Manager**. This position will oversee operations across both locations, leading a multi-shift production environment with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and team development.
Position Overview
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing daily plant operations and driving overall performance. The Plant Manager will be hands-on in guiding production, improving processes, and building a strong, accountable workforce while ensuring high standards in safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of plant operations including production, scheduling, and staffing across both facilities
* Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
* Track and improve performance metrics related to productivity, quality, cost, and delivery
* Analyze operational data to identify issues and implement effective solutions
* Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and reduce waste
* Ensure products meet company and customer quality expectations
* Maintain efficient production workflows and standardized processes
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely shipping and receiving operations
* Train, mentor, and develop supervisors and production staff
* Plan for future equipment and operational needs, including capital improvements
* Supervise leadership staff and support overall plant performance goals
Qualifications
* 5–10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is a plus
* Experience in industries such as chemicals, mineral processing, or construction materials preferred
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods is beneficial
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general production systems
* Strong understanding of production planning, workforce management, and plant operations
Compensation
💰 **Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)**
