Mancan is working with a company in Berlin seeking experienced maintenance technicians for 1st and 2nd shift. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Pay is based on experience, between $20-$25 per hour with a $1 shift differential for 2nd shift.
1st shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 4pm-midnight
Must be available to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on molding presses and other production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an industrial maintenance technician
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
- Experience working with molding presses or similar machinery preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
