Mancan has partnered with an amazing, well-established company in West Lafayette, Ohio, and we’re looking for an experienced Painter to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:
Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings according to manufacturer specifications and technical data sheets
Properly prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as needed
Paint brand-new dump bodies ranging from 10’ to 22’ in length
Perform restoration painting on semi-trucks, trailers, tractors, and various types of equipment
Maintain consistent, high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Lead by example while assisting with workflow and maintaining quality standards
Qualifications:
Previous professional painting experience required
Experience with epoxy and polyurethane coatings
Strong understanding of coating application processes and technical data sheets
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the job
Strong work ethic and leadership mindset
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Preferred Skills:
Experience painting large equipment or heavy-duty vehicles
Knowledge of paint systems, surface preparation, and finish standards
Skilled trades experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am-3:30pm
Starting Pay: $20.50/hour, with potential for a raise upon permanent hire
